Thanks to you, Fair Observer: Global Conversations on Issues that Matter by Fair Observer has been successfully funded! 

The campaign is finished. Not only did Fair Observer reach its goal of $25,000, it exceeded that goal by 40% for a total of $35,001 dollars.

I am an obssesive journaler, which means that I chronicled the day I met Atul Singh and our subsequent meetings. Atul likes car metaphors. He has said to me multiple times that this blog is supposed to be a “beneath the hood” look at Fair Observer and the unique people running it. I overslept and my friend had to wake me up because otherwise I would feel terrible about losing time and missing out on the best part of the day.  He made a simple yet delicious brunch for me and I walked to the metro station.

Fair Observer is an independent news organization that is currently run entirely by volunteers. A few weeks ago we launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise money in order to keep us independent.
